New figures released by Glassdoor
, the employer comparison site, has revealed that candidates think Airbus is the best company to interview for in the UK.
Announcing their annual ‘Candidates Choice Awards’, Glassdoor said that the aeronautics company were deemed to be those who gave candidates the most positive experience. They were closely followed by Yell.com and insurance company Hiscox.
Determining what makes a positive experience for a candidate, the awards looked at a variety of aspects including the time the recruitment process took, how difficult the interview questions were and how easy the whole process was.
Candidates also ranked a company highly if they felt they were kept informed throughout the process, had been given a really good understanding of the company during the interview and if the interview was held in a good environment.
As quoted by Personnel Today, Carmel Galvin, chief HR officer at Glassdoor, said of the findings, “The interview process is the gateway experience that employers have with a candidate, and you only get one chance to make a great first impression.
“These employers stand out from the rest for offering a best in class candidate experience that is vital to turning quality candidates into amazing employees. It’s no easy task, but employers who get this right will have the recruiting and business advantage.”
